Wedding planning is in high gear at this time of year for spring and summer time weddings. Brides are making critical decisions about colour schemes not only for their reception but for their bridesmaids. Choosing the right dress can be extremely challenging. In this wedding blog, we highlight some of the stores the brides from our Toronto banquet hall have taken their girls to get dresses.
Located on Avenue Road between Wilson and Lawrence, Madeline’s is a staple when it comes to finding a dress. Best to book an appointment as it tends to get pretty busy. You’ll want someone to attend to your questions and needs, especially if you are coming in a large group. They also do custom alterations in house, which can sometimes be a pain when trying to find the right dressmaker.
Located in Woodbridge, Amanda-Lina’s is featured on W Network’s television show, Say Yes to the Dress. There is a great online look book to check out the dress styles before heading into the shop. No appointment is required for bridesmaid’s dresses as you are encouraged to walk in.
Located on Bloor Street West between Dundas West and Keele, Jealous Bridesmaids offers a unique boutique experience without boutique prices. An appointment is required to ensure a sales associate is with your team every step of the way. There is also a detailed look book on their website in order to see the dress styles before coming into the store.
Located on Queen Street West, Cabaret Vintage has flapper dresses from the 1920s and vintage inspired dresses from 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. If you are looking for something unique that no other wedding party has done, this store is perfect for you. No appointment necessary!
